The Meindl Peru Lady GTX Hiking Boot is suitable for the hillwalker looking for enough ankle support to hike to the top of any Irish mountain. Meindl have kept the stitching on the waterproof upper to a minimum which is ideal for those who encounter a lot of boggy-type terrain on their walks. The Peru Lady GTX is incredibly comfortable with super ankle hold thanks to the lacing system while the super-grippy sole unit will maintain its traction even on the wettest of mountainsides. A brilliant boot!

The Peru has a soft lower cut ankle that provides superb comfort. The Peru GTX is a 3 season boot with a Goretex lining which ensures it is waterproof.

The high quality waxed nubuck upper provides protection and durability for all types of terrain.
Techincal features of the boot include a double density sole unit for good shock absorbency; Digafix lacing system to ensure a secure fit; Softer compression zone at the back of the boot to reduce the pressure on the Achilles when walking downhill and a soft lower cut cuff which ensures superb comfort

Suitable for hill walking and lower level routes throughout Ireland and further afield.

The Air Active footbed wicks away moisture generated by the foot ; the sole unit is self cleaning, shedding mud as you walk.


The boots should be cleaned of any mud or dirt prior to waxing. Apply Meindl Sportwax to the upper to keep the leather soft and supple, it is recommended that you clean your boots each time you have used them.
The Goretex lining should be washed every 6 to 12 months dependent on useage. Fill the boot with a water and mild detergent solution and then swill it around prior to rinsing with water. This will clean the Goretex lining and improve its effectiveness
All Meindl boots can be resoled at the Meindl factory in Germany as long as the upper is in good condition.
